FS6400 is compact and low consumption ultra-wideband microwave  synthesizer. The frequency range and output power level are available to control via USB 2.0 bus. The synthesizer generates 25...6400 MHz frequency range tunable harmonic signal with 1 Hz increment.  An output power ranges from -10 to +10 dBm with 0,25 dB discret. The synthesizer is based on the PLL controlled 3.2 to 6.4 GHz frequency range octave generator architecture, relatively stabilized from built-in termo-compensated reference crystal oscillator or external reference oscillator.

Synthesizer Description
FS6400 is compact and low-consumption ultra-wideband microwave synthesizer powered and controlled via USB 2.0 bus.
The synthesizer generates 25...6400 MHz frequency range tunable harmonic signal with increment of 1 Hz.  An output power ranges from -10 to +10 dBm with 0,25 dB discret.
The synthesizer is based on the PLL with controlled 3.2 to 6.4 GHz frequency range octave generator architecture, relatively stabilized from built-in termo-compensated reference crystal oscillator (RCO). The generator output signal passes through:

  • programmable frequency divider to extend the frequency range down to 25 MHz;
  • programmable step attenuator that compensates for the uneven frequency you
  • original tract and regulates the output power;
  • broadband power amplifier;
  • switchable low-pass filter which suppresses harmonics of the output signal to no greater than -20 dBc.

The synthesizer is a monoblock 90х50х14 mm dimensions with connectors:

  • SMA on the front panel - the output of the microwave;
  • MCX on the back side - the programmable input/output KG;
  • mini-USB at the rear end - power and control.

Also on the rear end there are two two-color LEDs indicating the state of KG and PLL capture.
